Inside The Lord’s Prayer.

Matthew 6:5-12.

Matthew 6:5-12  And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

Of a truth,Prayer is  the strongest force in the universe, stonger than the atomics, the nuclear war headed weapons and any military alliance . It is a great spiritual communion with God. Many see it as a combination of sounds of our words in agony or thanksgiving, our thoughts, attitude and the very desires bugging our minds. Prayer is very important and very significant to our existence as men and women of God.

If there is anything you want to say to  God almighty, it must be through prayers, thanks giving, testimonies amongst other. Prayers give meanings to our every day’s life They give meanings to the words we say before God. Prayer strives in the use of the right words and more when combined with a clean heart. One may use the right heart, attitude and dispositions  which are wrong before God, but still be boasting in prayer, the prayer becomes empty babbling, the babbling of a hypocrite.

A break down of the Lords prayers shows that the  “Our”[father God ] is meant to benefit all but one group of people ie those who live selfish lives. Self-centred people cannot confidently lay claims to the term our father, because you are selfish God is not, you are wicked God is not, you are living only for yourself God is generous.

The “Father”quality of this great God is only for those who are truly his sons and daughters, whose names are written in God’s family books, if my name, your name is not in the Book of Life, in the family book of God in heaven. How can I say: “our Father

“which art in heaven” if I am laying up no treasure up there, if my heart and interests are all buried in earthly things? I am then not eligible to say: Which art in heaven for I have no part in heaven.

“Hallowed be Thy Name” if he the Christain is not striving daily, endeavouring to honour God alone in all he says and does. To say those words when we hardly hallow His name means hipocripsy to be serious before God we must, by words and deeds, be living daily in holiness.

Heaven cannot believe you when you say:Thy kingdom comeWhen you are not expecting any kingdom to come. if I am not doing all in my power to hasten the coming of that kingdom, if I am not preparing for the second coming of Christ or still living in unbelieve how can I continue to plead for the arrival of a kingdom we are strangers in ?. I will be careful to say thy Kingdom come.

Thy will be done” if perhaps I am deliberately rebelling against the revealed will of God in His Word. Hebrews 10:26  “For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,”

On Earth…That will please God almighty seeing his creature doing his will, but no ,man is full of lip services, pleading for God’s will to be done on earth but blindly refusing to do any even after warnings  a men and women are down pushing their will 2 Timothy 3:1-6  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts. And God is asking where is my respect ?.

“As It Is In Heaven”.—This is the hope and dream of everybody, A world without bitterness and rancor, a world without terrorists, a world free of cheats, but Satan who was chased down from heaven is saying the opposite. he knows where believers are going to.

.” It is  God’s desires that His will be done by each of His children on earth, by all believers in Christ, by the whole church on earth, by all people on earth, as it is done by all angels in heaven. God’s desire and Christ’s provision through His full redemption is that each of us will know and do His will, which must be done  to duplicate what the  angels do in heaven.

“Give Us This Day—The day as it breaks out is full of challenges, events in the world good or bad takes place  day by day, so when you wake up every day command your morning command your day for God had already renewed His steadfastness thereof. Isaiah 40:31But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Lamentations 5:21  “Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.”

“Our Daily Bread” Men need the steady flow of bread and butter, and they know that all comes from God demonstrated in Jesus feeding the five thousand-with almost nothing

Matthew 14:15-23  And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals. But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.  He said, Bring them hither to me. And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full. And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children. And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away. And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

“Forgive UsOur Tresspasses. You cannot insist on that, you cannot ask to be forgiven if you are not always in the mood to forgive others who have offended you.
